Since our establishment in 2020, we have distributed almost £5 million in support of 116 charitable organisations, 194 projects and over 150 individuals on behalf of businesses, government, foundations and individual donors.
In 2022, we commissioned a comprehensive Island wide needs analysis, which was conducted by PwC. This Needs Assessment research forms the basis for a strong, evidence-based approach for our future grant giving activity. The report provides tangible, relevant, recent data for us to bring to potential corporates and individuals who may be looking to redress the issues our Island faces.
In Jersey there are over 450 registered charities and over 1300 Not-For-Profit Organisations to choose from and it can be difficult to find the time and expertise to approach giving efficiently. We work in partnership with our donors to provide an expert service to ensure that their giving goes to worthwhile causes in the areas they are passionate about. Some of the benefits of our service include detailed due diligence checks on applicants, rigorous assessment of grant applications, strong knowledge of needs across Jersey, close monitoring of projects and the production of impact reports that drive continuous improvement in grant giving.
