Chris has a wide-ranging background in both business and medicine, and is the founder and Medical Director of WorkHealth Jersey - providing work-related health services to all business sectors in the island. He holds the Diploma in Occupational Medicine awarded by the Faculty of Occupational Medicine UK, is currently completing his MSc in Occupational Medicine with the University of Manchester, and was the Clinical Lead for PPE for the Government of Jersey in managing the COVID-19 pandemic. With a background in hospital practice, Chris continues to run clinics in the cardiology department at Jersey General Hospital and he is also appointed by the Minister for Social Security to carry out assessments for Jersey Incapacity Benefits and Income Support Impairment benefits. Across his varied experiences he has developed a deep understanding of the employment benefits system, health system, and social challenges faced by communities in Jersey.
