Washington is a Senior Change Manager in Commissioning and Partnerships in the Government of Jersey working for the health department. He has extensive experience in health commissioning and contract management in Jersey which includes contract negotiation, service development and leading and inspiring change. Washington’s role includes reviewing health services on the island working closely with the charities and other 3rd sector organisations to ensure that the health needs of the islanders are addressed.

Washington has a strong understanding of Jersey having lived here since 2011 and has an understanding of the charitable sector not only from the government perspective. Washington is also a board member of a local charity Friends of Africa Jersey C.I which he has chaired and has been involved in from the initial set up to champion diversity and inclusion, as well as support people settle into the island.
