The Jersey Community Foundation is delighted to announce that it has been awarded 50% of the 2019 lottery profits to distribute to Arts, Culture, Heritage, Science and Sport organisations on the Island. Information on how to apply for these funds and the grant criteria will be available in early 2021.
Heather MacCallum, co-chair of the Jersey Community Foundation, “We are delighted to have the opportunity to distribute 50% of the 2019 lottery funding and we look forward to working with the Arts, Culture, Heritage, Science and Sports sectors on the Island to ensure these funds are distributed effectively. We know from our work with the Dormant Bank Account Funds that this funding comes at a crucial time when many organisations have been negatively impacted by Covid-19”.
As well as facilitating the wider distribution of charitable funds in Jersey, the JCF aims to raise additional private funding to benefit charities, voluntary and community groups.
