Chief Executive Officer

Anna played a key role in establishing Jersey Community Foundation in May 2020 and has since led its growth into Jersey's leading place-based philanthropy organisation. As Chief Executive Officer, she has been instrumental in building the Foundation's grant-making programmes, developing partnerships across the public, private and charitable sectors, and helping shape a more strategic approach to philanthropy on the Island.

During the Foundation's first six years, Anna has overseen the distribution of more than £14 million in grants to Jersey charities and community organisations. She has helped establish Jersey Community Foundation as the Island's leading place-based philanthropy organisation, championing effective philanthropy, strengthening the charitable sector and helping direct funding towards Jersey's greatest areas of need. She has led a number of significant initiatives, including the Foundation's Impact Accelerator programme, research into the value of Jersey's Third Sector, the development of Jersey's first Philanthropy Policy, and the Foundation's growing work to strengthen effective philanthropy and charitable giving across the Island.

Jersey-born, Anna spent over a decade living and working in London before returning to the Island in 2015. She has worked in the charitable sector since 2009. She began her career managing major donor relationships for a national UK charity before moving into the development and professionalisation of a specialist regional healthcare charity, where she went on to serve as a trustee for nine years.

Following her return to Jersey, Anna worked as a consultant to a number of charitable foundations, identifying and developing grant-funded projects both locally and internationally, including supporting the funding of Jersey's Homelessness Review and Strategy.

Anna holds a Master's in Philanthropic Studies, specialising in charitable foundations, philanthropy, donor engagement and best practice in grant-making. She is passionate about strengthening philanthropy, supporting a resilient charitable sector and improving outcomes for Islanders through effective, evidence-led giving.
