Karen Le Roy Harris
Grants and Relationship Manager
Karen supports the grants team by helping to manage the grantmaking process and offering guidance to individuals and organisations applying for funding. She is passionate about ensuring that people from all parts of the community have the confidence to apply and feel supported throughout the grant application journey.
Karen brings over 15 years’ experience across the arts, charitable, non profit, and public sectors in London and Jersey. Her work spans community engagement, curation, creative project development, and inclusive practice, collaborating with artists, organisations, and community partners. This includes co founding the Moving Arts Collective—an artist led grassroots initiative focused on community, placemaking, environment, and amplifying diverse voices—as well as roles with ArtHouse Jersey as Community Producer and Bow Arts, where she delivered community led programmes including research, artist commissions, workshops, talks, and exhibitions. Her community experience also includes volunteering as a mentor with Arts Emergency.
Karen is a multi disciplinary artist and producer whose collaborative practice explores the relationship between art, community, activism, and the environment. She has created large scale site specific installations for organisations including the National Trust and Jersey Heritage and continues to develop work that responds to place, community, and environmental themes.
