Philanthropy and Communications Manager

Lucy joined Jersey Community Foundation in 2026 bringing nearly 20 years of experience across media, government and the charitable sector. Having moved to Jersey from London in 2021, she is passionate about supporting local community initiatives and strengthening connections between donors, charities and islanders.
Lucy works across philanthropy and communications, helping to grow awareness of the Foundation’s work and the impact of Jersey’s charitable sector. She is particularly interested in the power of storytelling and collaboration to inspire positive change and community involvement.
Before relocating to Jersey, Lucy spent more than a decade at Sky News as a Media, Arts and Entertainment Correspondent, leading coverage of major cultural events and interviewing internationally recognised figures from the worlds of film, politics and the arts. She has also worked in news and politics at ITV and BBC.
Alongside her role at the Foundation, Lucy is Chair of Jersey Festival of Words, supporting partnerships and community engagement for one of Jersey’s leading cultural charities. She has also worked with a range of local organisations and initiatives, including Regen Festival Jersey, helping to promote community conversations around sustainability, food systems and the environment.
