Helen is Ogier’s Director of Local Legal Services - she is a Jersey Advocate and a non-practising English solicitor. She practices a range of local business law and is recognised as one of the Island’s most prominent employment, discrimination and immigration lawyers.

Helen recently became the new chairperson of the Jersey Employment Trust (JET), a Jersey registered charity which helps people with disabilities or long-term health conditions gain and maintain employment. She is also a commissioner of the Jersey Appointments Commission.

In the past, Helen served a ten year term, the majority of which was as chair, of the Employment Forum, a statutory body which consults and makes recommendations to the Minister for Social Security on changes to Jersey’s employment law.
